Brentford boss Thomas Frank praised duo Vitaly Janelt and Ethan Pinnock.
The pair were recognised by the supporters and their fellow players at the team's end of year awards.
Janelt won the Players' Player of the Year award, while defender Pinnock was the Supporters' Player of the Year.
I'm happy with the two winners. They deserve it, both of them," said Frank.
Vitaly has been hugely important for us during the four seasons he's been here. He's impacted massively the success we have had.
This season he has started 36 games and came on in the 37th. He and Ethan are unsung heroes.
They never hit the headlines that much. Vitaly is the glue that makes everyone better: he never stops running, he is a leader and he is extremely important."
